Cyper 25
Cypermethrin 25% EC is a highly active synthetic pyrethroid insecticide
based on cypermethrin containing 25% of active ingredient
weight/weight.
Direction Use and Dosage
Apply high volume with pressure retaining knapsack fitted with fine
mist nozzle. Begin spraying with the onset of infestation at 15 days
interval or as necessary.
Observe given waiting periods between last spray and harvest.

Precautions
Keep away from children, food stuffs, animal feeds, heat and open
flame. Store in a cool and dry place under lock and key. Do not mix the
insecticide with bare hands. Do not smoke, chew, drink or eat while
spraying the insecticide. Avoid inhalation of the mist. Spray the
insecticide only in the direction of wind blowing and not against it so
as to prevent the setting of drifts on body. Wear protective clothing
like rubber hat boots, overall, face mask, goggles and hand gloves
while spraying the insecticide. Do not spray near fish culture ponds or
when bees are active. Do not use a ultra low volume spray. Do not use
in those situations if there is possibility of harming bees, silk
worms, fish, live stock, wild birds and animals.
Symptoms of poisoning
Nervousness, anxiety, tremor, convultions, skin allergies, sneezing,
running nose and stiffness of nose.
First Aid
In case of poisonous symptoms occur, call the doctor immediately. If
ingested induce vomiting or carry out gastric lavage with care to
prevent aspiration. Treat symtomatically. If skin is contaminated wash
the effected area with copious water and soap. If eyes are contaminated
irrigate with normal saline or water for about 15 minutes and refer to
doctor.
Antidote
Administer intravenously, phenobarbital or diphenyl hydantion or their
combinations, anti-convulsant drugs or DIZEPAM groups of drugs.
Attention should be given to maintain respiratory, cardiovascular and
renal function. Treat symptomatically.
Post Spraying Precautions
Wash the contaminated area like hands, skin, fingernails and hair with
copious of water and soap. If eyes are contaminated irrigate with
normal saline or water for about 15 minutes and refer to doctor. Change
the contaminated cloths. Clean the equipment used for the spraying with
plenty of water and soap.
Transport
Packages containing material offered for transport by rail, shall be
packed in accordance with the conditions specified in red tariff issued
by the ministry of Railways. The material shall be transported or
stored in such a way not to come in direct contact with food stuffs and
animal feeds.
Storage
The package containing the material shall be stored in a separate
premises or rooms away the rooms or premises used for storing other
articles or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key
depending upon the quantity and nature of the material. The rooms or
premises meant for storage of the material shall be well built dry,
well lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimension to avoid
contamination with vapour.
Disposal of Containers, Washings and Surplus Materials
The packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation. The used
package shall not be left outside to prevent their reuse. The packages,
washings from the equipments should be disposed off in safe manner so
as to prevent water pollution.
